Interesting Article - Please Read

living.boondockingmexico@yahoo.com

I have been good about not posting political articles although I'm not sure why people would be offended or not interested to know what is going on in Mexico when they live here and rv here.  We are all affected one way or another.  Anyway, what I have been saying all along is well-documented in this article.

AMLO and the “Fourth Transformation” in Mexico

A bit about the author:

Roberto Salinas-León is President of the Mexico Business Forum. He is an expert on trade, monetary policy, and economic liberalization in Latin America and co-editor of Money and Markets in the Americas: New Challenges for Hemispheric Integration.

  1. An uncertain future indeed. At first I had high hopes with him. But the new Mexico City airport cancellation was ridiculous.

  2. One thing about the Internet is you can find no end of articles. Here is another: https://www.as-coa.org/articles/approval-tracker-mexicos-president-amlo

The right wing CIA sponsored coupe in Bolivia has proven to be very detrimental to the safety and welfare of the people of Bolivia. Amlo supported and gave refuge to the former president of Bolivia and for this most of the world is grateful. The feelings of the people of Mexico is reflected in the article I linked. Generally, they like him and are willing to let him stay in office.

  3. The problem with Evo is that he was invited by the president. Unconstitutional, he has to ask for asylum . That's the first issue. Generally, most of the world is laughing at Mexico as it is the U.S. I read the article you linked and I think shows that AMLO is losing popularity and quickly. The two graphs titled "Mexico Problems" and "Consulta Mitofsky" are proof that he is quickly failing and Mexicans, again like the U.S., are now regretting they voted "for the change". AMLO has cost this country a ton of money the first year, and continues to invest in projects that will not benefit Mexicans in the future. The Mexican mentality is guided towards revenge. He has made changes only to get retribution against those that wouldn't let him into the political circle. We are now finding that Bolivia's Evo, in 14 years of power, really didn't do much to change the panorama of his country and reduce poverty.
