Where Would You Go?

living.boondockingmexico@yahoo.com

So many variables; weather, distance, boondocking, security.   Here we are entering the month of May and July 8th is right around the corner.   All things considered, where would you recommend we spend three to five months of summer?

We are open to ideas.  It could be here in Mexico or the U.S.  Like all rvers, the limiting factors in terms of expenses are distance and fuel cost.  We will always look for boondocking spots, but at the same time we are open to pay sites as well.

Take advantage of the comments section and say what you like.  I can't see any reason to delete any comments, we are open to all suggestions.

Fire away!

  1. Head for the Hills (Rockies that is). Depending upon what you want to see, you can spend most of the time dry, warm and with comfortable night temps. sorry don't know what July 8th is. for a real treat, come back through Albuquerque for the Ballon Fest. Ride the train at Durango. See Mesa Verde. Bunch of hot springs to visit. Go to the Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, etc. But just have fun!

  2. Most of your photos seem murky. You need to get a better camera, or at least do some adjustments in your photo editing program. Check out this lady's blog:http://www.rvgoddess.com/POSTCARDS/2009/Winter/Index.aspx and this page (and any other) as well :http://www.rvgoddess.com/POSTCARDS/2011/FLOSS/APRIL/040411.aspx

I enjoy following your travels, but wish to see more and better photos!

  4. Head for Banff Alberta Canada. Bring an ice pick and chip off a little ice for your afternoon Marguerita. Don't feed the Moose. :)

  5. Om Mannnn. I meant to say chip off a little ice off of one of the glaciers for your afternoon Marguerita. No way to edit on a blog.

  6. One of our best summers was spent in an expanded area of the four corners states visiting parks and Indigenous ruins, large and small. That is, Arizona starting with Grand Canyon, through southern AZ, Southern CO (don't miss Mesa Verde) then northern NM. So many sights you have to pick and choose, and beautiful mountainous terrain.
Where-ever you choose, will look forward to your adventures.
