I hope yesterday's information on the Colombia Bridge was useful. It is really an easy crossing and the best part is you never touch ground with Laredo, TX or Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. After leaving the bridge, it takes about 20 minutes via Hwy2 to get to the Autopista Hwy 85 where you land right at Km 26 or the checkpoint. After that, it is smooth sailing. You can head West to Saltillo as you arrive to the Northern edge of Monterrey in General Escobedo, take the truck route to the 85 South to Ciudad Victoria and Tampico, or take Hwy 40 East to China and over to the coast.
